Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Zitek's doorstep laptop repair services.
1. Service Agreement
By booking a repair service with Zitek (zitek.in), you agree to these Terms of Service. We provide on-site, doorstep laptop repair services in Ahmedabad. The scope of service includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of laptop batteries, screens, keyboards, and SSD upgrades.
2. Pricing and Payment
All repair costs and part prices will be communicated to you clearly before the repair begins. We do not charge hidden fees.
- Payment is due immediately upon the successful completion of the repair.
- We accept cash, UPI, and bank transfers.
- A valid retail GST invoice will be provided for all parts installed.
3. Warranty and Replacements
We use 100% genuine OEM parts. Warranty periods vary depending on the part installed:
- Warranties are valid from the date of the invoice.
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
- It does NOT cover physical damage, liquid damage, electrical surges, or tampering by unauthorized third parties.
- To claim a warranty, you must present the original invoice provided by Zitek.
4. Data Protection & Liability
Zitek follows a strict "100% In-Front-Of-You Repair" policy. Since all physical hardware repairs are performed in your presence:
- You are responsible for backing up your data before the technician's arrival.
- Zitek is not liable for any data loss, software corruption, or loss of revenue that may inadvertently occur during the repair process.
- Our technicians will not ask for your device passwords unless necessary to test the replaced hardware (e.g., testing the battery status or screen display). You are encouraged to log in yourself to assist with the testing.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your doorstep service appointment without penalty up to 2 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made upon the technician's arrival may be subject to a nominal visiting fee to cover travel expenses.
